eyecracker
I'm new to the site and just wanted to see if anyone has any good Muskegon Lake tips and info/fishing reports they'd share as we look to head out Thursday night.
pbrktrt
I would suggest talking to Bill or one of his employees at Shoreline Service on the corner of Lakeshore Dr. and McCracken. Plus you are a minute from the launch. If you are doing the night bite for eyes I would try the 8-13 ft depths off Strawberry Island and the break behind the old paper mill. I wish you good luck. As a caveat, their is a lot of slab wood on the bottom but that is why they are there.
Nailer
Day time Muskegon Lake Walleye are next to imposable to catch. After dark along the steep drops will give up a few (very few) Husky jerk's or shad raps run along the break in front of Coles bakery will be your best bet. Target water 13-15 feet deep. Try to keep your lure 2 feet from bottom. The best fishing on Muskegon Lake starts in mid November and continues till ice up.
ALLEYES
It is real tough trolling out there right now with all of the floating weeds.
