Detour Report 5/13/10

This wind has got to stop blowing sometime.. We did manage to get some fishing in before the wind a a cooling issue on the boat sent us back to the dock. We hit one 12# King off a 20 foot rigger and a Warrior Fire Tiger flutter spoon. We where planning on fishing again this afternoon but I have to see if I can get the cooling issue resolved...

Nice to see a Detour report! I love fishing up there, uncle just left yesterday for a four wheeling trip to the island. Such a beautiful place.

At least you got out there. The Chrome 1 is still waiting on dry dock ready to go. Looks like Brevort Lake tomorrow for walleye and pike. The chrome 1 is waiting for the wind to die down a little more. The 19 footer is just a little hard to handle in all of this wind although it has been done a few times. I don't want to fight the weather on the shakedown.

This weekend looks pretty good, we'll be back on the water tomorrow with the seasons first charter... Cooling issue is resolved... Rainy and windy here still not going to make it out this afternoon.. The wind gods have got to run out of breath pretty soon I hope

Ahhhhh......a detour report! Where my sickness began years ago. Would love to see that fishery back to where it was. Let us know how that charter goes.
