Adam Bomb Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 Usually mid January on Saginaw Bay for ATV travel around the Linwood area. Hit the ice January 15th last year up on Wigwam bay. steeliebob Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 You just have to come up to the UP where we have 6 months of ice and 3 months of in between then three months of boat fishing. Last spring you guys down south were catching salmon and we still had 2 feet of ice in St Ignace. Hang in there diesel, I used to have 1 teenage daughter and 9 of her friends all of the time. Sounds like Dan needs a trip to the UP. First ice on Munoscong and Brevort can be hot but be very careful. Both of these hotspots have been known to swallow up careless ice fishermen.
