We got everything set up in 60fow around 8pm in some pretty choppy water. Trolled around for about an hour and a half with no releases, and we were losing hope. Right around when the sun was touching the water we had a release and my buddy hooked up with his first salmon in 65fow on a rigger slide line 45 down. Fought for about 15 mins with two pretty good runs. Netted him, ended up being 17.75 lbs king. 10 mins later had another release. Didnt feel like to great of a fish but he pretty much ran right at the boat. 14lb king. Right as we got the fish out of the net in the boat another release. 15.5lb king on a rigger slide line down 35 in 65fow.

First two fish were taken on a spoon which I don't know the name, it was a hammered spoon pretty much all green with a black eye on it. 15.5lb'er came on a bloody nose spoon. Feels great to finally not end up with a skunk! Heard on the radio someone lost a 25lber, then a lil bit later some one thanked the person who lost it because it was in their box.

They had time to weight him before it got off?;):D

Nice gob on some big fish, Andrew!

Catching big fish in shallow water like that is always fun.
