wild at heart Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 Awesome day. 15 for 24, w/10 kings, coho, and 4 lakers. About 125# box. 5 kings over 10, biggest 17#. 70 to 100fow. Mostly mags spoons, but 6 for 7 on wire diver back 240 w/10" SD and blue/gold fly. 6 fish after 1:00 pm. Our first 3 man limit with the new regs. We were using a mag DD glow white with ring.Just found this site last week or so. Very nice. I'm mostly on GLA. Would you mind giving me a breif history of this site? Thanks if possible. Welcome aboard Kevin, and I am glad you like the site. I built the site and opened it on 8 January 2006. Most everyone has found the site via word of mouth. Periodically I visit some of the boat ramps and stick buisness cards for the site on the drivers side window. I do web work as a hobby, and specialize with vbulletin software. This website is laid out really well, and the software is VERY user friendly. We do not tolerate any bashing or flaming. The moderators and myself do a good job of watching over all of the posts. It only takes a couple of bad apples to ruin it for the whole crop. I have posted fishing reports on the other sites(GLA and MS) that have been viewed over 400 times and not received one reply. I must not be in the "in-crowd" on those sites. I personally try to reply to every fishing report. If someone puts forth the effort to post a report, I believe it should be replied to. We have a few rules and they are posted so everyone can view them. This way everyone knows whats allowed and whats not allowed. The end result of all of this work is a good site with a GREAT group of people as members. We have a weekly chat every Wednesday night at 8pm EST. The chat room can be used any time people wish to use it. If you have not done so already, please take a minute and do an introduction in the welcome center. Pull up a chair, grab your mouse, and click away. If you like this site, please tell all of your friends about us. If you have any more questions or need anything else, let me know.
