Those who do survive them seem to become the best ambassadors and teachers for the others who have yet to take one. salmonquest Posted March 13, 2009 Share Posted March 13, 2009 I went through in the middel of the night one time. I think it was a pocket of bad ice over good ice. I was able to pull myself right up.
