Yoda Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Our hook ups are about the same as a treble, the singles do seem to hold a bit better, they burey deeper into the fishes mouth. and my opinion is, unless a treble is deep in the fishes mouth it works against itself. I'd wouldn't tell anybody one style of hook is better than another, they both catch fish very well, SHARPNESS is the biggest cause of lost fish in my book, I can not think of any strait pointed hooks that are sharp enough to use out of the package, Treble or single.
