Nice going out, but very wet with a lot of standing water in a lot of places. fished 20-22fow, 4 eyes. blue/silver do jigger, pink jiggin rap. eyes were very plump 19"-22", moved around but didn't mark a lot. Switched it up to jigs to get fish, then went back to my old stand by do jiggers...In all fairness, those spoons havent seen the water since....Theyre a good spoon IMO. Adam Bomb Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 Ive been out the last two days with great results...we landed 21 between us in the last two outtings. Ice was really good when i came in last night. Infact, it tightened up some from Sunday. No water out there, just real slick. Creepers are a MUST. I hope we can get through todays wind and tomorrows rain and wind. If we do, i think we'll be fine. Shore ice might get a little hairy if we get the weather theyre calling for along with some jamming...Just hope the damage isnt too severe that some cold cant heal it up in short order. Was going to go today, but an old friend stopped by for a bit. Now, i just dont have the ambition....Guess ill take the day off and hold my breath until this weather goes through, then reassess things out there. Heres some vids and pics from yesterdays action...More fish with sore lips out there as i threw some of mine back. Kept a few for the barber.
