  1. Port Sheldon used to be my home port for about 10yrs. before moving to Muskegon. I am not going into alot of detail but at that time of the year, somthing that has always produced for me is Sivler Streak(reg. size)"Monkey Puke". As for depth and temp.? You have to find the active fish.

  2. Finally got some time to go do some fishing out of Muskegon this morning with it being a pretty good morning going 6 for 10. Left the dock at 4:30 am and set up in 50ft of water to the north about 1 mile. Before we could get all lines set rigger 25 down with moonshine flounder pounder fired and after a small fight came unbuttoned :(. Finally got everything down and white flasher/blue bubble fly took off and after a nice fight boxed a 15 pounder. Next to go was stinger glow frog 23 down and this one also come unbuttoned:mad:. No sooner did we get that set back out and the 7 color core went with #3 j plug green glow/black ladder and we boxed this one. Next to go was freakin veggies on rigger 35 down with a nice king at 17 lbs. 3 for 5. It turned very dead from 7:30 to 9:30 this morning with us loseing 1 fish in that time on the core with the J plug. Worked our way out to 75 - 80 feet of water and found a very nice temp break ( from 49.5 to 53.5) holding bait fish. Went thru with no results turned come back thru when a boat started to cut us off and had to turn away when both dipseys set at 125 and 135 on 2 with spinney green glow fly started pounding at the same time and the fight was on then rigger with freakin veggies fired :D Tripple header. Ended up boating 2 of 3. Stated working our way in and put out a 5 color with kevorkian and boated our last fish ending 6 for 10. Had to work hard for them today but a very good morning of fishing with my son in law, his brother and a friend of theirs.

  3. Nice Job Terry and Crew!!! I had my fishing partner Roy call me today as he went out last night out of Muskegon and they landed a dandy male at 21 lbs in 70 feet of water down 65 feet on rigger with a blue dolphin mag spoon. They got ran off after they landed that one cause of lightning. Can not wait to see everyone next weekend!!! I have to agree some Big ones have finally come back! Only been out 2 times this year because of relocating to the Ionia area for my work but pretty much settled now and it is time to start fishing the RedEye again.
