  1. Set lines about 6:00 near the ironsides wreck (~120 fow) and trolled NW. picked up a small kin in 135 fow on a free slider with a double orange crush with rigger down 90. Caught a second king in 144 fow on a rigger down 80 with a magnum mixed veggie spoon. From all rods set to 2 fish was about 20 minutes! Continued nw to 175 fow then headed back toward shallower water. Finally picked up a small trout on the rigger with the mixed veggie about an hour before sunset. The only goods marks were down at 115 feet but no takers! My wife's first 2 fish of the season so it was a good night!

  4.

Fished 7:30 to noon and went 2 for 2 with a 20 # and 17# King in the box. Caught them about 9:30 and 10:00 when the sun came out. The small one came in 158 FOW on a free slider with the rigger down 58 on a small zombie apocalypse from GL Tackle (White/red/green). The 20 pounder came in 178 FOW on a rigger down 65 on a larger version of the same spoon. Both had bellies full of alewives although I did not mark many fish or bait pods all morning. Surface temps were 45 to 48 and it was 43 to 45 down 50 to 70 at the ball.IMG_5033.thumb.JPG.4d2c9a696091f267e8b7f9eabe23c2e2.JPG IMG_1766.thumb.JPG.e5a6c354d388195c997fc5435e6428a6.JPG

  5. Fished out of GH this morning. Went 0 for 1. Had a rip on a 300 copper in 122 FOW with a green coyote flasher and a blue/white fly. The radio chatter indicated no one as doing well although green flasher/flies seemed to be the key. Water was generally below 50 deg sdown 60 feet in most areas. I trolled from 80 out to 140 and back in with a couple of circles along the way!
