  1. Way to go! Lack of reports could be due to the fact that you may very well be the only one trying it. I know south of grand haven there arent a whole lot of guys playing in the mud like the good ol days.
  2. That's how holland and saugatuck charter boats do it. Allows both divers a side to be put on the bottom for trout if need be.
  3. I wonder though, if you put the paddle down why not put a fly on it? Can't hurt, and might pick up another fish or two.
  4. Ivory soap... I've said too much.
  5. Looks like bait to me. You can mark bugs? Sea fleas? Almost seems like the fish moved way north due to the callander and missed the bait..
  6. You're running good baits! If you hit back to back coho, dont forget to hit that mark button on the GPS!
  7. They have to show up eventually in Muskegon because they have to spawn but it may just he a quick 2 day flurry of craziness before they shoot up. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
  8. Nov very far at all. Maybe 15 foot. We always being it all the way down to the bottom, wait, then drop it down 2 more times. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
  9. Ran north almost up to GH. Caught a 4 man limit of lake trout, 2 kings and a steelhead. Also lost 2 silver bites. North and South troll, all bites in 110-115. Chrome spinnies with white, pink polka dot spin n glos took all the trout on riggers. But the important stuff... 225 Cu yellow submarine 1/2 (steelhead and lost a silver) 225 Cu RV dancing anchovy 1/1 (king) High diver back 220 hawg wild sd moo moo meat 1/1 (23 lb king) High diver back 200 blue frog sd blue meat 0/1 Never saw this bite! We checked all our meat and the strip was gone but 2 big scales were left on the treble hook! Must've bit in the wee hours of the morning when you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Thank goodness for trout man... Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
  10. Not bad! What do you think the bite on the meat you missed was? Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
  11. Would anyone go as far as to say they five as deep as magnum dipseys? They really would help on my small boat. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
  12. It was a bit excessive lol. Needed something to get down in the cold water, it caught a fish so I can't complain but I shudder to think of trying to reel in a 20 lb king on it. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk
