Get Some Brother!! What a beast!

Where/when/how is the best way to get flares? Sounds silly, but I have been looking to buy a couple times at brand name stores and the flares are already months and months old. They sure don't give them away and when I see the old arse dates on them I get ticked.

2 (NEW)Cannon weight retrievers-n-stuff
2 new in the box Cannon weight retrievers, 1 used spinnie(don't know the brand), a couple pinch-pad style releases, a J-plug harness, and I'll even throw in a never used faucet for the little lady to keep her off your back for buying more fishing stuff. Yee Ha !! Gotta go with $20 bucks. Pick up in Grandville,MI or I can UPS the stuff to ya for actual shipping cost. Thanks! -kelly

(2) Cannon UNI-TROLL HP manual downriggers -n- stuff 4 sale !!
2 Uni-Troll HP's, complete package with bases/mounts, ball retrievers, and 2 8lb(I believe) Tru Trac balls. Really good condition. They worked great the few times I used them,..but, they are used items. I bought them from a really straight shooter from this web-site but upgraded to some Big Jon elect. Now they are just sitting in my garage. I gotta go with $290 firm. We will see what happens. ?? I live in Grandville, MI but I do get out around the West Michigan area during the week (Muskegon,GH,Holland, etc) If shipping(UPS) buyer to pay actual shipping cost which might be a few bucks more than normal because I think we have business class shipping at my work(package will get there fast). Thank you -Kelly (Off to EBAY, this sale is closed)

It was tuff fishin' for sure but I still had a good time with my brother JD and Truman. First time skunk for me since I got back into Big Lake fishing(like 4 seasons) but it sure wasn't for lack of effort. Don't usually get out this late in the season so I wasn't to disappointed, to get out at all is a blessing! Weather was fantastic, waves were taller than predicted. Docks are still in, out house is open, Big lot/cleaning station closed! Maybe a trip or two left ??????????

Good times with my brothers aboard King Possible. Hope to get out again soon. Bundle up fellas,..its cold out there that early!
-
Nice work brother. I agree that king looks at least 20. Big fish=Big fun!!
-
Great time as always with JD. We couldn't get out of our own way at first, but man did King Possible come around! Judging by the radio chatter I'd say we did great! The LT and King were both right at the 34 inch mark measured on JD's cooler. I'm a big dude so sometimes the pics don't do the fish justice but they were really nice fish! The LT was a bruzer for sure.

Still a good time, thanks brother JD. The wife and I loved that fresh Koho!!
-
Great time with my bros. Let me say bring an extra layer of clothing, its still chilly out there! I fried up a couple Koho fillets tonight, dam them Ho's be crazy good!!

Had a great time as always brother. Thank you. Great to catch up with Joe again. Good people!!

Brother JD,
Tough questions. I at one point in time was going to go to a 2 vehicle program as well. Park Ave for every day and a Suburban my buddy had for towing and harsh winter conditions. Kinda came down to my thoughts of twice the maintenance, more insurance and just more congestion of the driveway. I kept thinking, "Not one,..but 2 oil changes, not 4, but 8 new tires, not one brake job, two!" You get my point. Money was an issue so I had to pass on the Sub. Just some food for thought. Good luck in whatever you decide. -kelly

Was a great outing. Very tolerable when the wind laid down but I must say thank goodness for hand warmer packets! I had 6 of them bad boys scattered through-out my body! Brother JD put us on fish once again. Good times!
-
Great time JD. We really tore 'em up in the ninth inning! Your dad,.."what are we going to do if we get a 3rd one on" ZZZzzzzzzzzzz rip. Awesome! Thanks again!
-
Thanks for taking me brother. You worked hard but hey we got some nice silver! Way better day than weather people predicted and not a lot of traffic. Met a couple site members at the cleaning station that I knew were good guys because one of them had a muskie shirt on Good times!!

Last one(for a while), is a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed. This is my friend's uncle's car. I know the guy also and heard the stories,...but this was the first time I seen the car in person. Yes,.. its in a 100 pieces, yes... it doesn't look like all that, but here is the kicker,... she only has 25,000 original miles! It spent most of its life on the drag strip 1/4 mile at a time! Cool stuff!!
-
Next,... from today 5/7/15 is a MOPAR! This was at one of my stops, the good guys out at More Power Inc. in Sparta. The owner is a airline pilot and from what he told me he has a stable of badd arse Mopars. Hemi's, 440 6bbl's, and this 1970 "Panther Pink" 318 'Cuda conv. It's actually his wife's car. It's been repainted more of a "girly" pink because she didn't like the original shade of pink the factory used. This car is really rare not only because of the color, but this drop top even has AC !!

Get some, King Possible!!! Well done!

Thanks for the info fellas. I might have to try one. I'm leaning towards the all species(medium size) one. Some videos say smear a small amount of grease or suntan lotion around the inside to help it slide on and off but I'm not to keen on that.
-
Yea or nay? And what size would be best for your typical salmon rods(okuma/diawa). Any feedback is appreciated.

Here is a real doozie. One of Ron's other cars. This is a really cool piece believe it or not. Its a 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 convertible. Unfortunately, the original 455 engine has long been gone and the car needs TOTAL restoration, but.....
it's one of 232 units produced that model year. Numbers matching, mint condition '70 Stage 1 convertibles can bring 6 digit sale prices!
As you can see this one has been sitting for Oh,... about 20 years or so. It's in his trailer so I couldn't get any real good pics.
Big Daddy Ron will get her restored someday(hopefully).
