tranducers dont wear out but they often break

they are very frail glass internal coponents

a good wack on a board in the water and it is toast

call the shop ask for Derek he can pull out the airmar book and pick you out a good new tranducer

i can order quicksilver equipment but it is best to take it out walk into a shop with it in your hand and get a direct replacement will not look exactly the same but will work rite take your model and serial numbers with you for the motor and transon bracket they probably will need these numbers as well to confirm they order the rite one compare it to the new one when picked up

good used ones are hard to find and regretable if they lead to problems with a drive

best to just order a new one from mercruiser what exacly is wrong with yours you will want to make sure there is not some thing wrong with the shift bracket or the cables that caused your control box to go bad

its been my experience that tells me if you have a omc you put a omc box on it volvo a volvo box always change box and cables at the same time

yes a lot of them are interchangable but it is best to just put the rite one on there then no adapting is required every thing wiill work better that way a bad box or poor adjustment can trash a out drive then its big $$$$
