Thanks for all the replies I cant get at the back of the rivits without totally disassembling my deck and sides becausehe the brilliant engineers put a gas tank in that is too large to fit through the deck opening in the center of the floor, I hope welding the rivits wont effect the gas tank directly above them
  2. My 18' sea nymph has several loose and leaking rivits I have silconed them and also used a 3M brand epoxy stick nothing seems to stay on long. Wondering if anyone has used the bullfrog rivit repair kit or has any suggestions
  3. due to higer seas than predicted we stayed in 75' fow and shallower went 2 for2 the problem was one was a sheepshead and one a catfish lol

I have a 18' seanymph And I have two rigger with 4' arms I usually run them out the sides so as they are farthest apart but I was considering running two dipsey rods off the sides and I am thinking about swiveling them out the back to give me more room for the dipseys. My question is how close can you run the riggers next to each other with out worry of tangles?

Fished out of holland for the 1st time this season went out to 133' fow found a temp break 55' down only had one realease at 80' down on a rigger no body home not many boats out fished till 9:30 boat motor failed on the way in ( 60 fow )with lightning in the west and the wind picking up!!! Big thankyou to boat named "call me fishmeal" for turning around from the channel to come and tow us. Will never forget this trip and the help of a stranger:grin:
  7. Thank you to all who posted replies I generally fish out of port sheldon or holland,and i may have to buy some mag dipseys . another question I have is does wire fit on a pen 209 reel or do I do I have to go larger?

I usually just run two dipseys with the mag ring with braided line on the # 3 setting b/c I was always worried about tangles with my down riggers but reeading these posts about running divers on the#1 setting with wire has me wondering what kind of wire are we talking about here? Also would you run four dipseys on a 18' deep v boat with out worry?
