  1. I agree, We need to help each other.

I grew up fishing south off of Saugatuck and SH back in the days when they were plentiful. Now live in Grand Haven and have put in some serious time the past few years but just can't find any numbers. I know they're on an upward swing in population and can be caught, just need more info. Holland has been very good the past couple years.

  2. fished from 4:30 to 8:30 tonight. Very slow was outcome. We were fortunate to pick up 1 nice king in 145 ft. but did not have any other bumps. we started in 110 and were out as far as 150.

Fish took a braid dipsey with a chrome protroll and a bugeye glow fly in smelt halo pattern.

Common theme on the radio seemed to be the same. A few fish here and there but no real pattern going.

fished 9:30am - 1:00pm headed straight out to 120 set lines and headed SW. @ 153' Had a hit and a miss on high diver wonderbread spoon. 12 lb king on rigger 85 down purple carbon moonshine. Then a double with 300 copper and same High diver with wonderbread. Lost the nice king on the diver at the boat and landed the 15 lb king on the copper blue dolphin DW mag spoon. Stayed between 155 and 145. fly's have hatched:(

  4. I agree with Sherman. My 3 cyl. 2 stroke loves the plate. Even at 3.0 to 4.0 mph it would load up and foul plugs. I have been extremely happy with the Easy Troller. The hinged bottom is the key. Adding the notch as Turfwrench showed would be an easy fix for you and might solve the issue.
