A couple of weeks ago I was salmon fishing out of Port Sheldon in 140' of water when I hooked this Fish on a three color lead core ,I did not weigh or measure but I am sure it was over four feet long we released it right after we landed it, the DNR said it was very unusual to be up that close to the surface as they spend most of their time on the bottom !

I find that sliders don't hook up as often as off the rigger !

Fished from 5:30 till 9 pm. 2 kings one on 5 color in 140' of water the other came on down rigger 60' down in 85'.

]We went 4 for 6 this morning 3 coho and this nice king ,in 150 to 170' the king came on 3 color lead with red thin fin with black strips , Mon. A.M. we caught 9 for 11 same water .Bud

I looked at the ramp today and it is the shallowest I have ever seen ,unless the water rises I am not going to be using it this year .
