  1. After cleaning fish at Midnight It was tough to get up and on the lake by 5:30. It was worth it as we had 5 in the box by 7:30. We fished straight out of the pier heads using our waypoints from the previous night. Instead of kings we found lake trout. Four came on green dolphin 85 down on rigger in 95, 101, 107, 109 feet of water. One steelhead on lime/orange stinger on rigger 45 down in 101 fow. One laker on purple/white pro king 80 on rigger in 123 fow. One king on full lead with lemon ice dreamweaver. Will be out in the morning weather permitting.

  2. We tried an evening fish and took 3 kings and 2 steelhead. We fished straight out in 90 to 140 feet of water. One steelhead came on mixed veggies on a rigger 45 down in 105 fow. One king on watermelon stinger on dipsy 140 back on 3 in 117 fow. One steelhead on orange and gold stinger on rigger 75 down in 117 fow. One king on caramel dolphin on half lead in 120 fow. One king on orange/lemon stinger 50 down in 86 fow.

  3. Last week we kept only perch over 9 inches. We fished south in front of the A frames. I use sweedish pimples with a single hook which I tip with a thin strip of belly meat from a king or lake trout out of the box as we usually troll for a few hours before we look for perch. The bigger perch seem to go after that rather than minnows.

  4. I believe it is the size 0 dipsy I use and yes it was bumpy Sunday morning especialy going out since I ran south to be able to go with the waves. We were all soaked by the time we got out to 70 feet. It was a great week of fishing but today was back to work. The bright side is next week I am also taking a week off so if the weather is good I will be out all week and will be posting. We eat fish at least twice a week so it goes fast. We also got some nice kings so my smoker will be busy.

  5. Fished 6:00 to 9:00. Ran 2 miles south out to 75 feet and went with the waves into 60 feet. One Laker on watermelon spoon on dipsy 130 back set on 3. One king on lemon ice on full lead. One king on green/white spin doctor with a green fly. One king on blue spin doctor with blue bubble fly on dipsy 80 back on 1. One king on orange/lime stinger on rigger 35 down. 8. Fished Monday night in 55 to 80 feet of water in the 2's to 5's. One king on lemon ice on full lead. One king on watermelon spoon on dipsy 130 back on 3. One king on green and yellow spoon 50 down on rigger and one laker on watermelon spoon on dipsy 130 back on 3. We went back out Tuesday morning fishing 45 to 75 feet of water in the 5's to 7's on GPS. Two lakers on tin can with purple fly. One steelhead on watermelon on dipsy 130 back on 3 and one king on blue spin doctor and blue fly on dipsy 100 back on 1. I am on vacation this week and hope to get out each day!!

  9. After spending three hours trolling the shoreline in 8 to 15 feet of water with no hits we headed west. At 45 feet of water we took a steelhead on blue and orange thunderstick behind a board. At 65 feet of water we took a coho on a pro king bumblebee 27 down on rigger. The water temp on surface was 43. Talk on the radio sounded like 85 to 90 fow was producing some kings and lakers. I guess I should have started deeper today.

  11. I am sorry I didn't put the port in. I posted on another site which had the port in the heading and just copied the same report to this site. I always fish out of St. Joseph. I will put the port in the heading next time. I have no secrets and always share my reports and location on the lake when I am out. There are plenty of fish for everyone and plenty of times I am looking for help to get the skunk out of the box
