  1. Dave Do we need to put a string on it like your mom use to do with your mittens.
  2. powder horn or mac baits carry them
  3. mike I would agree with the other post , you will get a rim and tire heat from pulling , and the break tires are going to be a little warmer then the tag tire( no Brakes) I always check my bearing buddies to make sure there is a lot of grease in them the grease helps keep them cooler, and check by pulling on the top of the tires to see if you have a lot of play.if so the bearing a loose or a little worn .Rule of thumb for me is repack the bearings every two years if they need it or not. That way i can check them for rust and replace the seals. The few hours ever other year will safe you a ton in repairs.
  4. Jake Thanks for the kind words we work hard at putting out a good prouduct that will hold up for everyone to us. We are always happy to help out our Vets they do so much for use it is the least we can do to say thanks for all you do.

  11. Let me see if I can stop him from scraping it and if I can get photos of it. I have seen a photo he took this spring . for a 78 it looks pretty good and it has a full camper top ,the boat is blue and stored outside of Holland in a barn
  12. grumman your pm didn't come through

  13. spoonfed He had it on craigslist had a few bites but got p.offed when some had him dewinterize it ,and then told him he really wasn't looking for that kind of boat. Nice guy. paul from what i could see it was water ready besides adding your riggers and rod holders. Really wish I had room for it .
  14. I just talked to a friend that has a 23 foot slickcraft that is in pretty nice shape with a newer trailer and a motor that has about 30 hours on it . It's a great boat for the big lake and once was, still has the trac still on it . He tried to sell it a few year ago and no bites and wanted 1,500. Now he is going to scrap it out and just sell the trailer. I just can't see that, what a waste of a boat. For someone starting out this would have been a steal.
  15. Mike try west marine they carrie them ,or some of your local boat canvas shops . I ordered mine at I boat.com they are really cheap and you can also get them in metal.
