Hilarious. Dont let the door hit you on the way out! Well done Aaron.

I do not have a boat, but would love to help in any way I can... mate, cleanup, etc. Let me know.

all of them demanded he buy a 200 amp transfer switch
I see your point there.. Ridiculous. especially for a mobile home.
-
Well I wouldnt say all electricians go over board with the transfer switches... Lots of times we are just installing what was sold to the customer at lowes or home depot.... at least for the generacs... auto transfers are nice due to the cycle period for the generator Manual ones are fine too.. Best advice to avoid the over spending would be to tell them how many circuits you want to protect and so forth...

Clarkston MI, this storm wasnt that bad.

welcome.

I hope they can win, I am not a fan of Ben R. ( I wont attempt his name ) as far Lions fans go I think its nice to see a team we beat in the superbowl. Both teams are well represented by the University of Michigan. Foote and Woodley, and Woodson , Good luck 2 weeks from now.

Correct me if I am wrong here but wasnt the feeding ban based on one deer in a pen that was found to have CWD? As far as the turkeys go, im glad your ok but the birds had to appreciate the free food with their comedy show.
-
Get the sign that says Turkey feeder only... Deer will be shot on sight.

ive used the store brand melting glue out in the field for a quick fix, and that is exactly what it is... a quick fix. Go with the epoxy or the super glue if you can.

LOL if that boat is named the Steve Irwin, and I was the whalers.... I would name my boat the "stingray".

Shepards "Crook" then have a guy in a jailsuit, stealing salmon.

shad die off from the colder water temps... the statistic is that roughly 97% of the shad die off in the winter due to the cold water temp. Those shad that do die, get eaten by the walleye. Kind of like trying to smallmouth fish on ST Clair when the Mayflies are all dying... Difficult due to the food source.... They will die, the walleye and other fish will eat them, and when this buffet ends they will be hitting the lures again.

I dont have any, but I am liking your storage idea with the ring there.

Absolutely love my rainshadow steelhead rod. Currently have an order for a custom bass rod, Personable and easy to work with. That rod I have no doubt will be a Beauty. Cant wait. Thanks again Tony!

Blue Chrome and perch jigging raps have been a homerun this year. Other then that ive had some good luck with wax worms as well. But the Jiggin raps are were its at. Saginaw river caught 33 walleye in 2 hours but only 3 keepers... it was action tho. =)

Welcome sir... Lots of good information here. As far as the salmon go, your best bet is the west side.

Decided to make my own minnow bucket... The ones online were like 60 bucks. I got the bucket for $5, the battery opperated Aerator for $8, and the top tray which I modified for $11. FOr a grand total of 24 bucks. and I have storage for tip up stuff at the top, and it becomes a nice seat as well!

and of course shockwave is broke on my PC and have forgotten how to properly post pics on here... I apologize in advance.

The good news is I was able to walk the lake and find areas that look VERY promising... able to see all the little subtle changes. So Im hoping that even though I got skunked, I am much better prepared for when the conditions are in my favor.

Went out yesterday and the rain had melted all the snow... The ice was Crystal clear.. I could see all the way to the bottom. It was around 6 inches thick, and even knowing that I was a little freaked out about it. The fishing wasnt that good.. in fact I didnt get one bite.. but Im thinking the clear ice had something to do with it?
-
Great.... Im going to apply these techniques as soon as the ice is safe.. thanks all!

Ok I heard Steeliebob talking about ice fishing for steelhead... how is this done, and what do I need? Right now I have basic stuff I use for Pike and pan fish. Ice shanty, Power Auger, some tip ups etc. 3 ice fishing poles and small ice fishing jigs... Lay it on me fellas.

I second Nailer here, and can tell you from personal experience I have asked a TON of questions here, and the information and conduct thus far has been terrific.
