Went south to the high bank was breaking a thin skin of Ice all the way then went in to about 10fow and set up, went good for 1/2 mi. south and the rods started bucking, but Not fish:eek: it was the ice again and the stick baits was on the top of ice this not good turned north and trolled all the way back to harbor, stayed outside the 15fow line 10:30am now not a bit, then the rod was bucking and it was a Coho on black an orange stick:thumb: skunk out up in front off trailer park same rod go's again 8lb L.T so 2for2 and the boat on trailer by 1 had to get home not bad for here, first run would have liked full cooler.

Harbor Beach Brown plant;
Update, as I said I talked to Jim Baker today and I asked him about the return deal with the browns and where to report them when they was caught he said that they wanted a 15% return to Harbor Beach, and 5% return at port sanilac-lexington and it wasn't looking good ,
But the fishermans help could change that look just by recording the location, and the length, and date of the fish caught and turn that information in to a DNR person working a launch site, or to call the DNR office in BayCity and leave him a message] Jim Baker 989-686-2678
Thats all I can tell ya

Update; I talked to Jim Baker today,
I told him what I ran into yesterday and he said that is B.S., he said that there was calls that had come in and the docks should be soon, but if they didn't to call him again and he would call over to lansing, also said that the dock are handle by the parks and recreation division and with there man power right now it takes time to get there.
Then I asked him about the brown trout plant, I will update this in the other Tread By.
