  1. We made another offshore run aboard the Nibbles on Saturday and ended up going 9 for 15 on steelhead. 2,3,4,5 colors of lead, surface lines, and slide divers caught all the fish. Riggers did nothing once again. Good spoons were goldie locks, NK cocktail, orange super slims, and successful body baits were the original orange with black tiger thin fins and orange with black dot bombers. We fished 12 to 22 miles due west of the Frankfort lighthouse. Biggest steelie was 8-9 lbs.

  2. After seeing a huge temp break on Coastwatch we decided to try an offshore trip. We setup lines 12 miles due west of the lighthouse and the temp surface dropped from 58 degrees to 43 degrees and the surface was dead calm flat. We ran into the steelies hot and heavy. First rip was on a 2 color Pro King #92. A nice 5 lb chromer. Next up was a orange and black dotted bomber that caught a nice 8lber. For the next 2 hours it was fast and furious top water action and we ended up limiting out a total of 17.1 miles west of the lighthouse. The biggest weighed in a 13.4 lbs. We never fished any deeper than 25 fow. A great day on the pond...

  3. Fished south in Herring Hole from 1pm to 4:30pm and went 10 for 12. 2 Lake Trout and 8 Kings. One of the lakers was 15lbs and came off of a 5 color with a golden orange crush icicle super slim. She went 35" and was in the slot limit but I released her to swim another day. Kings came on a glow NBK super slim down 125' in 220 fow on rigger, 115' down silver screwball on rigger and blue dolphin super slim on 300' copper. Flashers and flies never took a hit..Kings ranged from 2 lbs to 14 lbs....
