Yup sounds right on the money

Blacks, Blacks, Blacks. No false release, set them for spring kings and cohos20-40 down, to big flashers down 240 feet, no need to have anything else.

I would look at raymarine also, we have a C120 and most of the time the screen is split 50/50 with sonar and GPS, it is also radar capable and the tri screen is not to bad. Dont have anything bad about hbirds, and know guys that have lots of HDS and that like them. I would not worry about the 360 scan, i dont think it would be a need for trolling apparatus.

As time and weather allow of course. LOL...was hoping for a day this weekend, looking at the forecasted winds...I may just sit tight and do things around the house.... Keeping my eye on the wind forecast over the next few days to determine if it's worth going or not....25MPH winds predicted, out on the open water of the bay, I'm guessing it will be greater than that.....
Renegades don't make excuses, they just GO!

I like the concept, im sure they would work good for coho fishing and spring browns on lightline

2013 was good! Got to chance to run this awesome boat.
<img src="http://www.greatlakesfisherman.com/gallery/files/1/6/5/6/down_time.jpg" alt="1656-down Time" />First charter out of Grand Haven as capt was good for me, even beating the boss.

58 pounds in 3 trout one day
Tournament season was not to bad for us as a team, a first in the ladies and Kids in Grand Haven.
Had customers on the 2nd boat that chartered for the Big King contest, respectable for a 18 year old, I thought

One of our michigan stinger pro staff use these all the time and even made a video to help, they are very effective and won them a lot of money. Enjoy, captain Jason Coslow from the KC1 http://vimeo.com/61677031

3 riggers, all with siders, 2 highs, 2 lows if were in deep enought water and anywhere from 6-14 boards. Drop them in slow and steady, boards are usually as far out as traffic will allow.

Don't run to many mags at all, nots seeing a ton a fully big 7inch plus alewife, I think I have 10 mags on the whole boat. The regular size stinger and stingray make up for the rest, spoons look bigger in the water then they seem.

if you wanted to make a chute rod only, then I could see someone doing that. Are for the amount of knots in a line, I dont think that would be a factor, I mean my 450 has 3 splices in it and lasted all August and September.

I dont have my stuff with me right now, ill try to explain it the best possible.
First tie a slider with desired length of line(we like 10-12ft)of line , one end tie a snap and swivel( part the bait goes on). On the other end tie just a barrel swivel.
Then take the tubing about 1.5 inch long, half way up the tubing cut the tubing half way through, just a slit in the tubing.
To assemble take the line from your rod put it through the tubing to where you slit the in the tubing, pop the main line out the slip in the tubing, string the main line through the swivel( not the snap and swivel) After the line is through the swivel, put the main line through the rest of the tubing. The swivel should sit right in the slit you made.
The tubing may not want slide sometimes, may have to wet it sometimes.

I have boards, run them occasionally. Interested as to how you guys set them up. Lately For us, dipsys on braid have been our best producer. I run 2 per side, was wondering if anyone out there runs 3 per side or is that just asking for trouble with tangles?
Long trolls, not alot of turning. When we were doing this, we ran 1 the low diver on 1.5 on a walker 124, 2nd diver with the diver but the 4oz weight on wire and the 3rd a regular 107 on braid. Cross current trolls would cause major tangles
-
I have heard guys running coppers on them or outside divers on them. Personally I would sell them and go buy some inline planar boards/ copper set ups.
-
Surgical tubing slider all the way. No mess with rubber bands over the boat, no need to clip clips on and off.

WOW is all I can say. Nice Job.

Tekota 800 will fit 450 of 45 pound. Even have a 500 on a 800 tekota.

Cold Water....

Lots of ace highs, and the numbers 4s. I still like lure Jensen in the older colors of plugs, and tomics in 3,4,5s

Sport shows are a great time to meet captain, if not get on the docks and go introduce your self. Good luck.
