You never forget the fish that got away. We lost a 20+ pound king last night at the back of the boat in the dark. It'd taken a moonshine spoon on a Dipsy and as I was hand lining in The last 15 feet, The king didn't like the propwash, Woke up and gave one last fight and spit out the spoon. Good times.

Mature Kings in 100-120 fow. Early morning from 30 to bottom, later fish hard 80 down. Meat rigs and j plugs high. The cold water is at 80. But they were way out of temp intermittently through out the day. Fish early tomorrow as you will most likely get blown off the lake early afternoon.

Jihn Simcox Group. Nice Steelhead today. 140 fow to180 in 4-6s. All fish taken above 60 ft. To 22 ft. Boards on half cores , 150 to 275 Cu, downriggers down 50 and high divers out 150. reg to small spoons and spinnys early. Fish with lot of bait to match those spoon sizes. Temp brake at 40.

Those fish in 55 FOW wouldnt bite, so we moved offshore to 230 fow to get some silver!

Lblown off the water today sooooo

Fly bite. Kings Coho lake trout steelhead, All sipping flies 22 miles offshore in 200 to 230 feet of water. Basically anything orange or red on surface lines. Super slim spoons the best. When the blackflies start biting you out deep, get out these rigs cause if you run anything deeper you won't catch them, we had triples on several times.

Dave Nugent's Family outing caught in 40 to 50 foot of water in front of the harbor

We caught fish in 80 - fow100 fow. But just now marked bait in 30-50 right oiff the harbor mouth, bait is in!

Two areas to fish, still waiting for bait to show up. Surface temp near shore 50, off shore in 85-110 fow. Silver fish taken early fro surface to 60 down. Lakers taken all over and on bottom as usual. Near shore in 40-55 fow. Near burns ditch best, and at sun up.

Fish report for Sunday May 4th. Northwest winds with waves 2 to 4 feet. Trolled from Cook to new Buffalo. Finished in exactly 32 feet of water. Best ride was a four-color no kidding. No hints on three or five color. Modified blue dolphin regular size Fuzzy bear. Also regular size UV blue dolphin. Kings taken of 10, 12, 14, 16 pounds.
