I have a 6 horse 33gal craftsman it runs 1/2 inch impact just fine but its kinda on the not so portable side, the tank is big to be handily portable but it depends on how much you want to be lifting, and get a rubber hose I went cheap and bought a junk chinaman hose and it dident last long before it split on me

About 10 years ago we fished the whitefish river on the little bay de noc from the mouth on up river untill it starts to get shallow and we got a nice smallmouth , a mid 30s pike and a 25in. trout of some kind we never identafied it for sure and lost the picture, was using a mepps #4 inline spinner thats all I got.

We went fishing friday , saturday and sunday till noon. Friday we caught a few nice pike a few ok bass and right at dark my buddie reeled in a nice 40in muskie we saw lots of muskie and pike following that day. saturday we got out a little late around 9:30 fished for about 20 mins. and the buddie got a 47in to bite his white bull dog man what a awsome fish! I netted it we got it untangled got some pictures put her back started back fishing about half hour later all the boats on the lake started dissapering we started hearing thunder seeing lightning and headed for shore just in time to get soaked loading the boat up. about 3 hours later we got back on the lake fished untill dark. we saw many more fish that day but no takers. Sunday we fished untill noon dident see any at all . Cant wait to go back! My report is a little late due to my broken computer. Keep your hooks in the water...

the us side I just checked the weather report they said some rain, and rain is my favorite fishing weather!

I am making a trip to St.clair next weekend and I am wondering if anybody is having or seeing any muskie action?

Seafood is my favorite. I have always wonderd if it is safe to eat the salmon eggs right out of the fish, or is there some way to prepair the eggs? I eat them at the sushi bar occasinaly and have collected them for bait out of caught fish.

thanks for the info. that is a real good photo of what the lamprey do to the fish. does that heel up? will it kill the fish? where do you get the sturgon on st. clair? I plan on going back next summer!!!!:D

47in. is the biggest I have caught that was on lake webster, indiana. I am from Fort Wayne In. there are many muskie stocked lakes within a hour of here, but there is a lot of fishing pressure, a lot of bass tournaments so most of the time I'm doing good to get one per day, there is always some kind of action, follows, strikes or lost fish the lakes around here are small so catching 2 in one day was a thrill!!! Not to mention all the bass, northerns and walleye we caught while muskie fishing st.clair (all were relesed by the way)

went out friday, saturday, and sunday with 2 buddies primarily for muskie, but also brought the ultra lite rods with some crawlers for what evers bitin in the middle of the day. friday the one bud got a 37in. muskie on a j-19 rapela some yellow and green holografic color and we all caught several bass smallies and largies the smallmouth fishing is awsome, a few northens and walleyes. friday on the fourth cast a 35in. muskie slammed my perch kikin minnow 9in. model then about half hour later a 45in. grabbed the same bait:grin: that was some sweet action!!!! the fish had some weird groth on it and a lamprey stuck to it which the net rubbed it off . we had numerous follows all three days, caught a few more walleye and pike. this was my first time to st.clair and not my last!!!
