Grease traps run at about 1.6 mph. When you see the fish on your graph throw the boat in neutral, wait a few seconds and throw it in gear. Otherwise you can bottom bounce them (used exclusively for lakers). You can run a meat rig all the time with an 11" fish shaped flasher - that works the best. Hopefully this helps you out.
