  2. I run four lines on down riggers boat dont give you much room on this lake so if u run divers eventually your gunna get it hooked on someone else's line and I run moonshine spoons mainly
  3. I have had 2 - 2 day trips over there this year that were right up there with some of my best ever with an avg of a bite about every 20 mins including a 22# king and 5 kings over 15#. That spoils you! I think this trip will be a little more "Normal". I would probably head more north if this wasn't a destination trip with golf included. Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman
  4. I'm guessing most of the time , the fish are pretty deep in the reservoir (50 feet or deeper. I would run both flasher and fly setups, and also clean spoons/no flasher. How many lines are you running? A few downriggers and a few divers? What types of spoons have you run?
  5. Last week
  6. I'm fishing a lake in Montana called fort peck. Not sure if everything will relate to my lake but I figured cant hurt to try some new things
  7. Good stuff. I thought I add a printable recipe for those that want it. Adirondack Salmon Chowder.pdf
  8. There were a few guys fishing in about 70’ and not sure if they were fishing for lakers or what. There weren’t that many trailers in the parking lot and we were the only ones at the fish cleaning station. I would set lines in about 60’ straight out from piers and angle out SW and then NW until you find some. When we got our first king in 135’ we stayed in the area until they shut down and then went out deeper. Good luck.
  9. Reminder! NWMI Fishing Club Contest on East GT Bay tomorrow evening (Wednesday) 6-9 (Center Road). My favorite 3 words...”Light and Variable”. Come on out and test your mettle against the Lakers and Ciscos! We will be there about 5pm to get registration started. Going to be a great night of fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Heading that way for a 3 day trip starting Thursday so any additional info would be greatly appreciated and I will post after each day we go out. Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman

Went out to 145’ but no hits. 1-3s; SOG 2.4 -3.2.

  17. benefits of 5G for businesses will have a great impact within the business world – no matter what sector your business is in. That’s why you must be prepared for the introduction, by ensuring that you have the right systems in place. Even though it is available through a few providers in the US.
  18. The good is it’s portable, the transducer is always aligned, a bit cheaper than X4. the bad is that the slip ducer can get tangled in the rigger cable and actually hang up your ball but the cable seems pretty strong as it held up my 10# weight with no issue.
  19. Anybody have any experience with the Fish Hawk X2, the good, the bad and the ugly. Sent from my SM-G970U using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App

  21. Fished Friday PM and Saturday AM. 3 kings... 8,15 and 18#. Plenty of lakers. Kings came in 96' water 150 back low-wire dipsy. 134' water 170 back hi-dipsy blue w/green glow spoon and 130' water 12 color spin doctor/meatrig.. Lakers came off bottom including a 16#er. Tough fishing overall.
  22. We ran 6 rods total, all targeting kings, but only 1 rod was hit. A ringed slide diver on wire with a 1.5 setting out 170 feet with a Ghost meet rig. It got bit in 144, 153 and 162 FOW. All hits were just South of the point by the bathhouse. We tried a few similar setups on other poles but they weren't touched. Kings were 15, 16 and 18 #s. 23. Set lines about 6:00 near the ironsides wreck (~120 fow) and trolled NW. picked up a small kin in 135 fow on a free slider with a double orange crush with rigger down 90. Caught a second king in 144 fow on a rigger down 80 with a magnum mixed veggie spoon. From all rods set to 2 fish was about 20 minutes! Continued nw to 175 fow then headed back toward shallower water. Finally picked up a small trout on the rigger with the mixed veggie about an hour before sunset. The only goods marks were down at 115 feet but no takers! My wife's first 2 fish of the season so it was a good night! Sent from my iPad using Great Lakes Fisherman Mobile App
  24. I fish mainly St. Joe and some New Buffalo. Haven’t been to South Haven this year yet. I think by the time the weather cooperated the kings were mostly north of me already. No shortage of Lake Trout though.
