  18. Waves have been getting in the way lately. Nice dinner there!
  19. Good job to avoid the skunk. Can't tell for sure, but kind of looks like a planted fish. Thanks for the report. Hope to be out of GH a time or two this weekend.
  20. This is the first time, I felt like I caught a small king at a SIX FLAGS amusement park off Holland. I think I did it as my boat entered the Bounce House. I went 1 for 3. Caught him (king 4.65#), in 75fow, with mixed veggie std, on rigger 40ft dwn, going NE trl, sog2.4, btmp 49 (10:51am). I had waves coming at me from two different directions. I hadn't had that happen to me before. What an experience. Interesting morning. Fished 8-1pm, 50-115 fow. Sent from my SM-A156U1 using Great Lakes Fisherman mobile app
  21. I decided to take the camera out and view the smallmouth bass underwater this week to see what they are doing. This is on an inactive non feeding day. It's always curious to see what they are doing when the bass aren't biting. Thought you guys might enjoy and underwater glimpse as well. Click Here to View The Underwater Video of The Smallmouth Bass
  22. Nice report 2MD. Pug found a way to get some fish even with the plague of flies. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore!
  23. haha thanks guys - cheers to the beginning of another season - Zgrinder it sounds like you have been busy - 8 days in NOLA had to have been nuts! was there with a couple of my boys for a sailboat regatta back in November but just for 2 nights - when the sun goes down that town is no place for children or pug
  24. First time out and your already slaying fish. Do they sell Pug Parkas on Amazon? Looks like your buddy can use one. Fin Warrior has been in the water since April 20th. But we have been slammed with travel; 8-d in NOLA for Jazz Fest, 4-d in Jackson Hole on a property matter and 6-d in Buffalo for a memorial service and a devastating Sabre loss to Montreal. Hope the weather and flies favorable around this weekend for a shakedown trip. Catch'em all!
  25. That tarpon would have been hard to leave for the flies. Great catch except for the flies. You must have a Master Fly Angler Patch somewhere?
  26. 11 for 14 off Holland on Sunday night – first trip out on Parker here in 2026 Blue Flounder was our best bait on rigger 50 down Yellow Gobie on Copp150 went 3 or 4 times too Trolled 190-110 fow – started deep and zig zagged in all night Only 3 or 4 of the Salmon were mature Got rough coming into sunset as the storm came in just like they forecasted Flies were MURDER despite it being cold out there with the surface temp 49 degrees PUG questioned his decision of returning to Michigan here in May and wonders if he should have stayed in Florida another 3 or 4 weeks catching Tarpon 20260517_180403.mp4 20260517_205748.mp4 20260418_225206(1).3gp
