Who Fishes Ludington

As a newer member on this message board I was wonder how many people on this site fish in Ludington and when do you normally go there?

I get up there a couple times a year.

Bro in Law lives there and saves me the trouble of pulling my boat!:p

I usually go up (its only hour or so away), Once in June (due to fathers day weekend being at his house) Once in July, Once in August!

I'm there every weekend and 3 weeks of vacation time between the end of June 30 to Oct. Maybe we'll see you around sometime.

I Fish out of Pentwater. Up there every weekend and about a month in the Summer. Ussually only make it up to the projects. Normally fish teh little point to Stoney Lake. Alot less boats down there.

I'm in Ludington once or twice in August. My brother slips his boat there. I usually make a few trips in late July and August to Manistee and sometimes fish around the Big Sable Point. Ludington and Manistee remain my favorite Lake MI ports. The net issue keeps me concerned and on my toes, but I'm careful and deal with it.

I am there from June 8th til mid August. Have fished out of Manistee and Onekama as well. I live in Florida now but summer in Ludington. Have been doing that program for 14 years. I still have to figure out a program every time I leave the harbor. I added meat rigs last year and did very well with them. I plan to add wire divers this year. If anyone has info I would appreciate hearing about the set up. Thanks...H.

When the fish are deep, wire diver rods paired with magnum divers can't be beat. Throw on a blue blue bubble spin doctor and fly on and it's a guaruntee;) Meat rigs and other flashers work on them too. I'm not there yet but fishing is starting to heat up for my buds right now.

I live in Ludington so I get to fish it the entire season. I make an annual trip to the east side to fish walleye with my brother. Otherwise I am always out there for the Salmon.

I normally start fishing Ludington this coming weekend, but i have a walleye outing on Saginaw Bay to attent on Saturday, so itll be two weeks before i get over there. As good and fun as the walleye fishing is out of my home port of Linwood, im ready for fish that know how to swim.:lol:Ive got everything ready, all i have to do is swap out the walleye gear for the salmon gear and im off....Cant wait!:no::cool:
