Fishing Ashtabula, Ohio

Hi all,
It's hard for me to swap a trip due to being busy in the summer, but I'll take anyone out that would like to go fishing. Best thing would be 6 people plus me, total 7. I have plenty of room at my place to either camp out in the yard or sleep in my house. I have a room set up in my basement with 4 bunk beds. I'll pick a date for Saturday July 26, 2008. If anyone wants to drive here Friday the day before thats fine, and your welcome to stay until Sunday. All I ask is donations for fuel, clean our own fish, and we split the catch. For driving directions my address 3541 Padanarum Road, Geneva, Ohio 44041. If we end up with more then 6 that want to go I'm sure crabass would be happy to take some people, we can have a two boat tournement :D Sounds like a fun GLF outing. Get signed up seats go fast!

Congrats Bill. If only I was half the distance away, and didn't have walleye in my back yard. I always wanted to try the Central Basin. Maybe I should, and drag Priority1 along. After that, I could head E. and give Lake O a shot. Those two stops would be a dream trip for me. I'm looking for a well heeled crew that can sponsor it.:grin:

Late July/early August isn't a bad time for Lake O. either. Pre-staging Kings in front of the Niagara and 18 mile are only about 3 1/2 hrs. away from 'Bula.

If anyone has questions you can post them here in the forum. I'm doing this trip for GLF members to come out and enjoy a day of fishing with me, crabass, and bill shu if I can get him to drive over here that day. I'm asking for a $25 dollar donation from each person for fuel. Camping out & staying at my place is free. I have 7 acres with lots of room for tents, vans, and campers. Anyone that is going to come out please give me a total count of how many people so we can plan accordingly.

I'm making one small change to this fishing trip due to some guys driving several hours to get to ashtabula. I'm going to keep sunday july 27th open just incase saturday 26th is a blow day. This will give us two days to fish.

crabass if you take these guys out to the local gentlemens clubs they'll never get up saturday morning, lol. :no: :D

I need some commitment if you guys are coming over to ashtabula to fish the 26th of july. I had a guy call today and I booked the 27th, but I am keeping the 26th open for GLF members. If you guys are not coming please let me know asap. I'm sure crabass would love to take some guys out the 27th on his boat :D
