Caznik did a fly tying seminar last year. I think that he gets his stuff from Jan's Netcraft.

Thank you,
So I see that I am not the only one up early this morning. I am waiting for my buddy to get over here so we can go ice fishing.

I'm always up early. Dam, this winter is getting long. I'll be spending a lot of time on the computer this weekend, on this site and GLA, thinking spring.

Caz and others,

Why do you tie your flies on the heads?

Have you found it works better than others or do you just like the way the flies look?

I do it two ways,
Tie around the head and tie on a straw.

I bought glo heads. I like the glo, and they look good too.

Tied these up. I like the appearance of the flies with the glo heads, but they sure are a pain to tie up compared to the flies tied on tubes. The tubes go very quickly, and are easy to handle compared to trying to hold that head and wrap tinsel around it.

Does it make a difference???

Ya tubes are much easier for me to and the heads seem to be a challenge for me. But anyways your flies look very good to me.

Nice job,

Rich
