hey roger i was out yesterday after noon and tonite the ice is better today around 3 to maby 4 inches, this was on a small lake in northern van burren co. about 10 min from you
i got 18 last nite and 16 tonite all gills around 8 to 9 inches
p.s. by morning if we do not get any more snow it should be safe most every place , its only 12 degrees right now and -1 last nite
