Boat Name

I fished all of last season without a name on the back of my boat. This winter I will put the name on it.

Should I have it painted or use decals?

We used decals, just because it gets beat up with the downrigger balls and i dont have to repaint it to fix it. I have a good contact if you need it mike.

I'll second that!! My buddy bought a used boat and sooooo many of them out there had names painted on. It actually had a little bit of influence on his decision on which boat to buy.

Todays technology in vinyl graffix are UV resistant and last longer than some of the ones they use to have. And I would think it would be alot more cost effective than hiring an artist unless you know a good one. I custom ordered my reg numbers and boat name and it was only like 35-40$. Since I have an out board I had the Name for my boat done twice along with the city and state. Once for each side of the boat in vinyl for $31.00. They are now a year old and holding up well.

hey guys, after getting a stupid quote for between $50-65 just for shadowed "MC" boat numbers i found sharon on craigs list she made me exctly the numbers i wanted, she matched the font and the colors to match our islander, she charged me $18 to my door and she said she can do alot of stuff try calling her or emailing her a sample of what work you would like in vinyl john

My wife came up with the name for my boat. She does work for a graphics shop so that was a plus...
