Unseasonably warm weather has broken up most of the ice that was forming on Lake Erie. Any Lake Erie ice should be considered unsafe. Floating ice chunks from the island area were pushed inshore by north winds. Open water boat access is dangerous at best.



Lake Erie surface temperatures is 33 to 35 degrees.
