Skunked!!!!!!!!!

Well my two labs, let curosity get the best of them last night and played with a skunk! I was in the house and smelled it and said oh s#$%! sure enough i look out the window and they both are pushing themselves on there noses across the yard! So i need some help, other than the carwash what do you "deskunk" them with? Ive always heard tomato juice, but both my labs are over 100 lbs and thats alot of tomatos!

Bath them using a mixture of peroxide (20 ounces), baking soda (3/4 cup) and Joy dishwashing liquid (2 good squirts) in a large bowl which is finished by filling with warm water. 10 minutes washing them with a wash cloth (careful around the eyes), let it sit for about 10 minutes and rinse. For suture episodes try this stuff.

This may sound funny, but, you can also use powdered douche.

We used to use them on skunk hides when we were trapping them.

i draw the line at buying tampons in the store!:no: I washed each of them 3 times with the peroxide mix, i think i went a little heavy on the peroxide because my black lab has some highlights in his coat now:eek:
