Great Lakes Fisherman Challenge

I have came up with a date of June 17 and a blow date of June 18. This does not fall on any tournament dates. Now I need to come up with a location, and a set of rules.

I would like to keep it located between the St.Joe League waters and the West Michigan League waters. I am thinking South Haven. Is this a city ramp of a dnr ramp? The one issue I am worried about is where to have the weigh in.

Any ideas?

Not that familure with South Havens port as far as what is available for weigh in festivities.

Well folks, I am still working on this. I have canned the idea of using South Haven due to lack of parking and no area for the weigh in. Instead, the tournament will be going out of Muskegon.

I have Sunday 18 June booked at Fisherman's Landing in Muskegon. There is plenty of parking at Fisherman's Landing and they also have a camp ground. Normally there is a $10 launch fee. But, I have booked it as a tournament, so there will only be a $5.00 launch fee. They have a fish cleaning facility there also, but there is a $5.00 fee per person for cleaning fish.

How many folks would be willing to fish on Fathers Day, Sunday June 18th?

I am going to scap the idea of a tourney this year. Maybe I will shoot for an outing instead.
