Finding the thermocline

What are some of the temp. zones to fish in, that the fish are more active? Do you want to run your spread right above the temp. break or just inside it?

I find the thremocline fish are more agressive when the warmer weather comes in. When I find a t-cline I like to put one just above, one just below and then try to get everything else in between somewhere.
