Everyone knows how expensive it is to fish the big tournaments. The cost of gas for prefishing, tournament days, entry fee(s), lodging, and slips, you are looking at around $1,000. This is a ball park figure, and it depends on the size of your boat, distance of travel, meals, number of days prefishing, and night time arrangements.

One entry fee, and your entry fee would be good for the duration of the derby. The duration could be any number of weeks. One fish could win you a weekly or a grand prize.
