Boats with spinnakers a large, wind-catching sail off the bow will race west to Wautoma Shoals, north toward Canada, then back to Rochester for a total distance of 82 nautical miles. Boats without spinnakers will race straight across the lake and back for a total distance of 74 nautical miles.
