Smelt have been caught when fishing at night in 40 feet of water on the north end of the lake near the State Park. Yellow perch fishing has been slow. Those seeking lake trout reported fair catches when using jigs tipped with minnows or live smelt. Rainbow trout can be found in shallow waters in front of the Conference Center. Whitefish continue to hit on wigglers in 80 to 100 feet of water.
