Northern pike are biting, but the catch rate has been slow. The far west corner seems like a hot spot for pike but as always anglers should use caution because there has been open water in that bay all season. Any ice cover now would most likely be very dangerous. Yellow perch fishing slowed. Panfish are running small but anglers are catching more than they did last week.
