I have set up a "Supporting Member" usergroup for the site. This is for people who would like to make a donation to the site. The donations will be used to cover the operating expenses of the site.
There are few perks for becoming a supporting member.
Supporting members are allowed:
150 private message allowance. Regular members are only allowed 50 private messages.
10 mb of storage space for their pictures in the gallery. Regular members are allowed 5 mb of storage space for their pictures in the gallery.
Access to a private area in the forums for supporting members only.
Supporting members may sell items in the classifieds section.
What does a subscription to your favorite magazine cost?
I set this up on a subscription basis. After the duration of your subscription, you will revert back to regular member status.
$14.99 donation for 1 year.
I have a PayPal account set up, and this is an automated process. Once the donation is made, you will have instant access.
