Date:Sunday June 24th at Port Sheldon(Be there at 4:30am sharp to pay your entry fee.)

Blow Date:Will hold a DBLE event on July 14th or the 15th

Weigh In:Be held at the DNR launch

No Charter Captains

Simple Rules For 2007

1- Must pay entry fee at 4:30am(If you cannot make it and you think that you will be late than please call my cell phone)
2- All fishing events start at 5 am and must pull lines at 11am.
3- Weigh in starts at 12:30(If you get called two times at the weigh in and you are not there. You will be DQed
4- Cost is $15.00 a boat.($5.00 of it gos towards big fish)
5- All boats must only use 6 rods
6- 2-4 Man teams(If you have 4 or more fishermen in your boat as a team you can only catch a 3 MAN LIMIT)
7- Weigh in 5 fish of any kind (salmon, coho, steelheads, browns, and lakers)
8- Each fish you bring in at the weigh in is 10 points each.(Up to 5 fish)
9- Make sure when you weigh your big fish for the big fish prize money that you know what fish is your biggest.(NO CHECKING AT THE SCALES)
10- NO - CULL RULE- If you net the fish or box the fish you must keep the fish. There will be no more throwing back fish or less they are under size. If you limit out on kings you might as well go in, because you are most likley to get kings most of the time anyways. Remember your fish counts as 10 points now and it does not matter what fish you get.
11- All captains that fish any event must sign a waiver form before they fish any event. You only have to sign it one time and it will cover you for all five events.
12- No Tie Breakers( For any tie breakers, this is how it will be solved. Tie for first place- First place will spit winnings with first and second place winnings and second place team will get third place winnings. Tie for second- Second place will get to split 2nd place and third place winnings. Third place team will not get anything. Third place tie- Third place will split third place winnings. ) end of story!

This Thread is now open to all that like to commit on. As of right now I am not taking no more teams for the fishing league. Please if you cannot make it make sure that you let me know. As you can see on the right of your team name is a W and S. This means that you allready have signed the waiver form and also donated a Spin doctor. If you have not yet please make sure you get it done for this coming event.

West Mich. Fishing League,
Ok teams, Fisher Tackle Co. has donated the league 25 Sqwincheel flys for us to try out and use this year to see how we like them and to let him know how well they work. I would like at least one picture taken with these flies and send it to Fisher Tackle Co. if you happen to catch a fish on them. You never know this fly maybe the hot thing for you and may want to buy more of them. I have herd of these flies and herd that they work well. I will be giving away at least 1 fly per team. So it will be first come first serve just because I don't know if I will have enough for everyone. Please I hope that you will send the fly company a email to thank them for sponsoring the league.

Ok gang, Mike Heckman from the GLF web site has got us all another great sponsor for the league this year. Sigg Riggs and Custom Fishing Products has given us a big donation for the league. Sigg Riggs has donated us 30 real nice looking flies and Costom Fishing Products has donated us 30 flashers. When all you captain come see me in the morning Mike will give you one fly and one flasher for you to have and use this year. There is going to be a really nice prize for who ever gets a big fish on these products being used together this year. Mike right now is setting up all the rules for this great deal that Sigg Riggs and Custom Fishing Products is doing for us. Now I want alot of picture's taken with Sigg Riggs and Costom Fishing Products donation when you happen to catch a fish on there product and I like it to be posted on the result thread for this event this year. Rules

Fish must be caught on a Custom Fishing Products/Siggs Rigs fly combination.

A picture of the fish with the flasher/fly combination must be taken the day of the tournament.
We would prefer a picture taken when the fish is caught in the boat. This makes a much better picture with the fishing back ground. If you do not have a camera, Rich or myself will have one at the weigh in and can take your picture.

You must make a post on either Great Lakes Fisherman (www.greatlakesfisherman.com) or Michigan-Sportsman (www.michigan-sportsman.com) showing your fish with the flasher/fly combo.

If you do not make a post with the picture, you will not be eligible.
