The first annual GLF Texas Hold 'Em Tournament is scheduled for:
When:Saturday January 13th, 2007
Where: Caznik (Rich's) Place in Hastings-Address to be pm'd to you!
Time: 6:30 pm
Entrance Fee:$20.00 buys you $1,000 in chips
Payouts!
1st Place 70%
2nd Place 20%
3rd Place 10%

At this point GLF Members only (Fishing Tourney Crew not included)

I A. Don't want to fill up Richs house without him knowing about
B. We will have room for some extra's but lets get the for sures done!

If you want beverages, Bring you own.

Im not for sure what time Tim told me or i forgot. I will have to get with him again because he told me that he couldnt leave from work till a certain time. If its up to me I like everyone here at least by 7pm. But if you cannot be here till 8 we can work that out to.

Ok Mike this is what I will do. If there is anyone that like to show up early to play for fun they can, because I am a rookie at this myself. I will have anyone that like to play for fun at 6pm. But the event will not start till 8pm or till everyone is here to play. Also yes there is a little caesars pizza place here and its right on the way to my house. I will let you know the right amout of people showing up Friday the day before the event.

I will be bringing another dish to pass to go along with the jerky I made. Reason being is that I made it last weekend while watching football and I forgot about it being in the smoker....:eek: It's not to bad but it is really not my best batch by a long shot so I will bring the jerky along with something else, not sure what yet though.

Talk about a late night. I got home at 3:30am. There were 14 of us that showed up to play. More food than you could shake a stick at. The games started at 8pm. We had 2 tables of 7, and everyone had $1,000 worth of chips. Each table played their own game until there was 4 players remaining. Then, we grouped the 4 players left from each table into 1 table and started over with $1,000 worth of chips. Somewhere's around 2:30am, it was decided the 3 remaining players would count their chips to determine who ended up 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Congratulations: Heavy Action(1st), Dv8oR(2nd), and Fishingmachine(3rd). Who knows who would have one if they would have played till the end.

This was a lot of fund and I would like to do this again. I am thinking this needs to start around 2pm next time.

That was my first time playing Texas holdum like we did last night. Man was it late, by time I cleaned up the basement it was allmost 4am and I coulnd't beleve this but my wife stayed up and help me out. I would love to play this again where ever you have this, but lets get up at 3:30 in the morning and start, like we do fishing.:grin:
