Higher water levels with lots of debris coming down the river has pretty much put a stop to those fishing off the bridges, at least until the weekend. Those fishing up near the dam are now using choker bags about the size of a quarter or fifty cent piece. Steelhead have been caught when drifting flies right along the bottom. Chartreuse egg patterns have worked well. A few walleye have been caught in the pocket waters with bucktail jigs.
