Boat anglers are still trolling for steelhead and northern pike. Launch sites in the Hartshorn Marina and on Cottage Grove Road are still open however boats going in and out during this cold weather will cause the ramp to become ice covered and slippery quite rapidly. Northern pike could be found in the shallow waters of Snug Harbor which is near the North Muskegon State Park. Some are fishing off the south side of the lake near Heritage Landing.
