View Full Version : Got An 8 pt Last Night

The house is sold, and the boat is pulled out now. I finally got to get out deer hunting last night for the first time this season :eek: . I was sitting at 5pm. I saw my first deer(buck) at 5:15pm. I was not ready when he came through. At 5:45pm, I saw my second deer(doe). About 6:30 pm, I saw 6 more deer(does and fawns). Around 6:45 this small 8 pt came in, and I took him. He only went about 40 yds after I shot him. This is the first deer I have shot with my new bow. I can not believe how smooth this bow shoots!

Wow, you took a picture of the deer prior to shooting it! Are you just showing off now or what??!!??!!

Nice looking buck and congrats on the first deer with a bow. It's nicer than my first bow deer.

It's not my first deer with a bow. Its my first deer with my NEW bow. Here are a couple of bucks I shot on the same night with a bow, 15 minutes apart.
