Anglers have started to catch better numbers of chinook salmon in the harbor and out to waters 50 feet deep using chrome or pearl J-plugs. Boats anchoring in the harbor have caught chinook when casting spoons. Weather permitting, boat anglers have been catching lake trout in 80 to 120 feet of water.
