Better walleye fishing was reported as the cool nights have the fish feeding more frequently. Boat and shore anglers continue to fish up near Port Huron as well as in both the North Channel and the Middle Channel. Drifting crawler harnesses or jigging in 20 to 30 feet of water produced fair to good catches. Those seeking bass continue to fish along the weed beds.
