View Full Version : New Bow
I sold my Mathews Q2 today. Bow season is just around the corner, so I went to the archery shop and purchased a Switchback. Once you have shot a Mathews, you will never shoot another bow.
I am trying to decide what to go with for a rest and a site. My previous bow had a slight over draw, and I really liked it. I use carbon arrows.
I have heard good and bad about Whisker Biscuit. Any recommendations for a site and a rest?

Mike and I have already chatted about this live, but I'm going to put .02 in here for all bowhunters to see.
Opinions vary.
When purchasing a bow, its best to pull every brand of Bow that particular dealer has and see which one feels best to YOU. For the sake of fun, have them blindfold you so your not a victim of "NAME" pressure.
When I bought mine, I didn't know Mathews, from Hoyt, from Bear, from etc etc etc. so they were putting them into my hands and I was pulling them and Landed myself on a Pearson 440 One. Turns out, it was the quietest bow produced in that year. I'm still shooting this bow today. I have a 30" draw and the Bow is a 29" draw setup with a 1" over draw- I like the overdraw myself-Mike
My sight is a Trophy Ridge Matrix- I like it like no other. I only use the top pin of a 3 pin site. Obviously 20, 30, and 40 yd pins respectively.

As for the rest, I asked about the whisker biscuit previously and don't think I like the idea either. I did find a 3 point arrow rest that I think I'm going to check out by newarchery. The Quiktune 360 Capture Rest.

Peace!

Thanks for the heads up on this rest. I have been doing some more checking up on it. I may go for it.
