--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 5 -To post your picture on the forums, scroll down and copy the BB image code. Easiest way is to left click and drag across it.
Once you have dragged across the link, the text will be highlighted, right click on mouse and copy. If you have done this correctly, your text will have an IMG tag on each end of it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 6 -Select forums from the navbar. Now that you have the link to your image, you need to go to the forums and make a post. Select New Thread and type your message. Determine where in the post you want the image to appear. Right click and paste. Click on that button, and it asks for the url. Right click and paste. You will now have the image text in your post.

Your image should show up in your post.

You can post the images that are hosted here or on other websites. Just copy the image link and do the same thing on the other forums.

Drop Myself or GLF a line if you need help.

Enjoy the forums. I hope you find this helpfull

Hopefully, this should answer anyone's questions on how to upload pictures to the gallery and how to post them on the forums.

If you still need help, just ask.

Thanks for the tutorial Mike!

Ok I know how to upload them and post them on a forum. How do you delete them when you happen to run out of room. Or just want to get rid of what you just loaded. Like my mistake called Big Mama. :D

Rich, I think the problem was because that image never uploaded correctly. I am not sure. Normally, all you have to do is click on the picture you wish to delete. On the right side it near the top, it says "Image Tools". Click on "Image Tools", and select delete image.

Mike, how do we down size our picture? It said I don't have enough space left. I wanted to add a deer kill photo.

Right click on your picture on your computer.

Select Edit

select stretch/skew

The next step depends on what the original size of your photo is.

Enter 50% for Horizontal, and 50% for veritcal.

Click OK

Then, click on file

click "save As"

rename your photo and save.

What I do to downsize a pic without going to a special site or program.

I simply Email the pic to myself. When Emailing, it always asks if I want to keep the pic full size or make it smaller. Select the smaller option, and send it. When you open it in your Email, Right click and save it to a folder in MY Pictures.

It's a good idea to delete the email out of both the in box and the sent message box. Pics eat up a lot of your Emails space allotment.

Thanks John I'll check. :)

My camera uses the Compact Flash Memory cards. It's an older Nikon 5 MP Cool Pix 5000. I just pull the card and plug it into a reader device that connects via a USB cable. I don't recall a dowsize option at that stage. My camera will take lesser quality pics and store more of them on the CF card.:)

I only dowsize the pics I Email or post on a web site. Even when I do mail pics or post them I keep the full size version also.:)
